We guide rock climbs year-round in the Boulder area and elsewhere. The objective of guided rock climbs is to have an enjoyable experience and perhaps raise your climbing level a notch or two. We are very fortunate to have world-class rock at our fingertips near Boulder. Eldorado Canyon, noted for superb face climbing on steep metamorphosed sandstone of exceptional quality, is an international destination for trad climbers. Boulder Canyon offers numerous trad climbs and sport routes on excellent granite. The Flatirons are classics with huge metamorphosed sandstone slabs. The Third Flatiron has been called the world's finest beginner climb. |
We guide peak climbs in Colorado and elsewhere. The objective of guided peak climbs is to reach spectacular summits that provide rewarding mountaineering experiences.
Colorado has dozens of exceptional summits, many with over fourteen thousand feet elevation (14ers). The Indian Peaks (13ers) are particularly known for fine summits.
Most peak climbs are not technical, although several offer good technical routes in addition to easier climbs.
We guide ice climbs in Colorado from December through March. We often visit the ice flows in Boulder Canyon and Clear Creek Canyon. Mt Lincoln has an ice flow that comes in early and stays late in the season. We also make forays to Ouray, the ice climber's mecca.

Most climbs require a full day. It is possible to schedule half day local climbs. Some mountain climbs require more than a day. We do not guide half day climbs outside the immediate Boulder area. We guide climbs at just about any level from easy to difficult and provide all equipment.

Prices are based upon full (8hr) or half (4hr) days. Half days are only scheduled in the immediate Boulder area.
