The Bob Culp Climbing School and Guide Service offers climbing lessons and guided climbs near Boulder, within Colorado, and elsewhere. Bob 2003 About Us

Bob is an American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) certified guide. He began climbing in the Boulder area in the early sixties and helped pioneer the sport, making numerous first ascents and new routes.

He established the climbing school in 1969. It is one of the oldest continuously operated climbing schools and guide services in the US and has a perfect safety record. All lessons and courses are taught in carefully controlled conditions, which allow students to learn the sport and develop their skills safely.

The school offers rock and ice climbing instruction and guided climbs near Boulder, special programs for schools and other organizations, and climbing trips to other areas. See our Climbing Trips page.

"If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be. If you follow your bliss, doors will open for you that wouldn't have opened for anyone else." - Joseph Campbell
